New CALPRO Course Offerings 

Preview upcoming CALPRO professional development courses.

Make a resolution this year to participate in one of several professional development courses offered by The California Adult Literacy Professional Development Project (CALPRO).

Key January courses:

-    Postsecondary Transitions, Session 1: Getting Started: Key Components, Strategies, and Best Practices (Online course, Jan. 18 through Feb. 14)

-    Designing Programs for Adults With Learning Disabilities, Session 1: Awareness for Adult Educators (Online course, Jan 26 through Feb 22)

Spring 2012 online workshops in real time:

Beginning in February, CALPRO will offer a series of online workshops in real time. Registration is free, and participants need speakers or headphones. More information about the Spring 2012 online workshops is available here.

The first workshop, Teaching Critical Thinking, will be offered in three parts on Feb. 3, 10, and 17.
